6/26/26

B Watch Adventures!

      We have been here now for three days, everyone is alive and doing well. We have played lots and lots of UNO. We have sailed a bunch and even went out onto the bowsprit to help furl the jibs. There have been lots of songs being sung and accents being practiced to help pass the time on and off watch. We love being on the ocean and making friends! The heads are a bit smelly before we clean them, it's tough waking up early, bow watch is boring (perfect time for singing), and all the knots we are learning are hard! But everything is getting a little easier every day. We all like being on the Gamage, the food is delicious and soul warming. Excited for the rest of the trip!

6/27/26

Today we were anchored in Provincetown harbor & in the morning we went swimming on the beach & found some sea glass! I’m excited to sail past Litchfield tomorrow. O hope that someone will see us. In the afternoon we went to Provincetown & went to a library & got ice cream. It was good to get back on the boat afterward. I had missed it. Tomorrow we’re gonna sail for 30 hours to get to Mystic. It will be cool to sail at night. This is awesome! I love it. - A

Today was beautiful and a wonderful experience full of memories from when we used to come to Cape Cod. - O

Today I got tattoos of henna from shipmates and we went ashore. We also sang a lot. We’re having fun & we’re leaving for mystic seaport tomorrow. - S

Today was a good day. We did henna with everyone, sang sailor song, wagon wheel & more. Everyone is really nice & tomorrow we are going to Mystic Seaport. - M

We went to shore in Cape Cod today. We went to the beach & walked around town! I’m having lots of fun & tomorrow we’re leaving for Connecticut. I also played the guitar for everyone to sing along! -M
