Educational Accreditation

Our collaboration with Deer Isle-Stonington High School

Collaborations

The Marine Learning Project has collaborated with administrators and teachers from Maine public schools to develop a five-day curriculum aligned with Maine Learning Results which includes boating safety, navigation, and nautical science.

Students who participate in this five day, intensive, hands-on learning experience will depart the vessel with demonstrated learning and a Maine Safe Boating Certificate. High schools are encouraged to review the curriculum to award credit for this course. Students looking for additional credits can take this curriculum to their school administators.
