From the Log Book: July 1st

We left my Seaport and they do Long Island sound anchoring in Port Jefferson. We were near the Denis Sullivan, which is a great lake schooner I seen in Boston last summer. We held swizzle, which is like a talent show, which was a lot of fun. It’s left on deck last night and Jake made delicious muffins. Today we arrive in Brooklyn. I’m having a great time! - A

We got to sleep in! We took some naps! We swizzled! We slept on deck! We eat chocolate muffins! - E 

We went to Long Island to anchor for the night. We also got to sleep on deck, which was super fun! I can’t wait to finally get  to New York today! -M

We left Mystic to the state of New York oh Canada! Woo hoo! -D 

We left Mystic Seaport, where we explore the museum and sailed in small boats. We also had showers! In the morning we left and said it to Port Jefferson. There, we saw Denis Sullivan anchored. We may have a cookout with them today. -M

The crew was very nice and allowed us to sleep in. My favorite part was going onto the bow sprit and Alex’s lesson on boat safety.  After anchoring in Port Jefferson, we had a swizzle (talent show) and at the end of the day we got to sleep on deck! Overall, the day was “great fun”! -R

We left Mystic Seaport and it was cool.  We had swizzle and it was Canada Day. After, we anchored in Long Island! I miss my bathroom. -C

Hi, we left Mystic Seaport to go on our way to New York. We also had a talent show which was fun. -S 

We left Mystic, and began our two day journey to New York. We rose the sales and worked a lot, but we also had fun celebrating Canada Day and having a Harvey gamage talent show. -F

We left Mystic and made our way down the Long Island sound. The Anchorage and Long Island next to other schooners. We also had swizzle. -O
